SDDR-55 ImageMate™ Driver

Find your operating system and follow the link to the driver you need! Under each operating system is a choice of file type to download. If you're not sure what file you should download, find out more about file formats below. After downloading your driver, read through the driver installation notes located at the bottom of the screen.
All file sizes are approximate.

Please Note: SDDR-55 is not mass storage compliant (not supported under Linux). Use drivers included with device or linked below.

File Formats
Exe File: An executable file
Sit File: A compressed Macintosh file

Windows 95/98/2000 driver installation note (EXE file):

  1. Click on name of the driver that you want to download.
  2. Write down the of the name of the file and where this file is going to be saved on your hard drive.
  3. After downloading the file, go to the location it was saved in.
  4. Double click on the file and follow the instructions on the screen.
  5. Do NOT change anything.
  6. After the installation is complete, reboot your computer.
  7. Plug in the Imagemate. It will create a new drive in My Computer.

Windows ME:

  1. Click on name of the driver that you want to download.
  2. Write down the of the name of the file and where this file is going to be saved on your hard drive.
  3. After downloading the file, go to the location it was saved in.
  4. Double click on Setup.exe and follow the instructions on the screen.
  5. Do NOT change anything.
  6. After the installation is complete, reboot your computer.
  7. Plug in the Imagemate. It will create a new drive in My Computer.

Windows XP:

  1. Save the driver from above to your desktop.
  2. Create a new folder on the desktop (right click on the desktop, choose new, choose folder).
  3. Double click on the file you downloaded, it will open in a window. Go to the file menu and choose Extract All, a wizard will come up, choose next. Then browse to your new folder and choose OK.
  4. Then choose next.
  5. When the final window appears, make sure view extracted files is checked and choose finish.
  6. It will open your new folder.
  7. Double click on setup.exe (icon looks like a computer with a box of floppy disks).
  8. Follow the prompts.
  9. Reboot.
  10. Plug the reader in.
  11. The Found new hardware wizard will start.
  12. Choose Install the software automatically.
  13. You will have a logo signing message pop up, choose continue anyway.
  14. Choose finish.
  15. There will now be a new drive letter in “My Computer” under devices with removable storage.

Macintosh driver installation note (SIT file):

  1. Click on the sit file that you want to download.
  2. Write down the name of the file and where this file is going to be saved on your hard drive.
  3. After download is complete go to that location then double click on the icon. 
  4. You need Stuff-it Expander for Macintosh installation. Aladdin Systems Website .
  5. Plug in the ImageMate to the USB port on your computer. 
  6. Insert a SmartMedia™ card in the slot and you will see the untitled icon on your desktop.
