SDDR-31 ImageMate™ Driver

If you're not sure what file you should download, find out more about file formats below. After downloading your driver, read through the driver installation notes located at the bottom of the screen.

File Formats
Exe File: An executable file
Sit File: A compressed Macintosh file
Windows 95/98 driver installation note (EXE file):
- Click on name of the driver that you want to download.
- Write down the of the name of the file and where this file is going to be saved on your hard drive.
- After downloading the file, go to the location it was saved in.
- Double click on the file and follow the instructions on the screen.
- Do NOT change anything.
- After the installation is complete, reboot your computer.
- Plug in the imagemate. It will create a new drive in My Computer.
Windows 95/98 driver installation note (ZIP file):
- Click on zip file that you want to download.
- Write down the name of the file and where this file is going to be saved on your hard drive.
- After the download is complete go to where you saved this file and double click on the file (You need Winzip to unzip this file).
- Plug in the ImageMate to the USB port on your computer.
- Point the New Hardware Wizard to the location you unzipped the driver to 6. It will build the driver information Database and create a removable disk drive inside My Computer.
Windows ME:
Use the native drivers built into ME:
- Unplug the ImageMate.
- Go to Start>>Programs>>ImageMate>>Uninstall ImageMate driver.
- Go to Start>>Run>>Type in Regedit.
- Select (click on plus + sign next to) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
- Select (click on plus + sign next to) Enum.
- Select (click on plus + sign next to) USB.
- Highlight VID_0781&PID_0002 (the PID will be different if there is another ImageMate).
- Press delete key, OK to delete entry, close registry editor.
- Restart.
- Plug the reader into the system
Note: Do not install the cd.
Windows XP driver information
- Remove all previously installed drivers for the SDDR-31.
- Shut down the system.
- Connect the reader.
- Restart the computer.
- XP will install the reader.
- Plug a card into the reader and an action menu will appear.
NOTE: The drivers for the SDDR-31 are native to XP and are already included in the program.
Macintosh driver installation note (SIT file):
- Click on the sit file that you want to download.
- Write down the name of the file and where this file is going to be saved on your hard drive.
- After download is complete go to that location then double click on the icon.
- You need Stuff-it Expander for Macintosh installation. Aladdin Systems Website.
- Plug in the ImageMate to the USB port on your computer.
- Insert a CompactFlash™ card in the slot and you will see the untitled icon on your desktop.
